Neither. Nor do *all* Americans fit under one label or the other.

Thanks for adding some real, intellectual thought to the post Boz, as you usually do of course.

I disagree and I stand by my opinion. I have very little respect for Trumpsters and I resepct Cruz, Rubio, etc. supporters so what does that tell you?

One need not be anti-Trump *or* anti-intellectual. Trump certainly wasn't my choice, but he *is* the president, and I prefer to see him do well for our country, unlike...oh say...Bill Maher, who is "hoping" for an economic crash and a recession. WTF?

People do not fit nicely and neatly into labels, Jak, and you know that.

And no, I do not hate you. I'm rather fond of you, despite our differences.

Didn't realize Boz was even considering hating you, much less me considering that Boz hated you.
If you want to bring up hate, that's on you...Have at it.
What you think of my reply and thanks to Boz, for simply inserting some some common sense into your loaded post is very telling of your disdain for a little common sense...Unfortunate, but so be it..It seems to go with much of what gets displayed on this site.

The best to you.

I'm hoping to put the nail in the coffin once and for all. We put the goddamn republincans back in charge. I will never forget the hell they put the US in under Bush.. I too, want Trump to fail hard. It's time to end this dog & pony show. I'd rather have Pence if you want the truth. He's only going to be there for anther 2 ytears anyways before we scrub the gov

I've heard that a lot since the election. *If* Trump had somehow been unseated and Pence had stepped in, he would have had a lot more cooperation with the Republicans in Congress and a lot less backlash from the press and public throughout that time and going forward, at least until January 2019 and possibly through 2021, depending upon the midterms...and possibly longer yet. Hmm...I wonder what he and the Rs might have pushed through? Regardless, you wouldn't have liked it. But hey, he would have been more "presidential" while doing so, eh?

"Scrub the gov"...LOL, you mean the do-si-do we routinely do where we put the Ds in charge, replace with Rs, replace again with Ds, and round and round we go with the same ol' status quo. Trump may not change that, but he was certainly the *only* possibility of doing so this past election. Clinton would have been business as usual...as would Pence.

As far as seeing Trump fail...I'm not a big fan of cutting off my nose to spite my face. I didn't want Obama (didn't want McCain or Romney, either), but I sincerely hoped he would do well for our country. Wishing for bad things for the country so the president goes down is just wrong.

As always...JMHO

It tells me that you are not being honest. If Cruz or Rubio were president right now I believe you would despise them, everything they do, AND anyone that voted for them.

Considering how difficult it is to beat an incumbent, odds are that Trump will win re-election. The only that would change that would be, as Maher hopes, a big hit to the stock market. Which, of course is certainly possible and would be no fault of Trumps (or any president for that matter). The economy is strong and getting stronger, but the perception, and what is afforded the media and the left in the way of talking points should the market tank, would take the spotlight.

But, short of that... all hail President Trump in 2020!!!!!

Then, lets see, should we follow that with 8 years of Pence, or jump straight to Ivanka, because we all know she is going to be the first female president. I know she isnt really conservative, but thought of having another Trump to drive the left crazy is just too good to pass up.

But dont despair, the dems still have a shot at stealing an election. After all, Hillary, Biden, and Bernie will only be about 900 years old come the next election.

Remember George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter? They both lost re-election.
