I am so in love with Freddie Mercury. I wish I could have known him in real life

I didn't appreciate him until later in life, but damn, he was extraordinary. My husband is a huge Queen fan, so there will be no twisting his arm to go see this in the theaters. I can't get over the actor they have playing him. He looks like he is going to play the part well.

There really is something about him.

Insanely talented, an absolute musical genius. I hope the movie is more than just a glorification of the homosexual lifestyle.

No. Im being serious. The man was a musical genius. I dont know all that much about his life, but I am assuming it was very interesting. I would be disappointed if the movie were nothing more than a hardcore leftwing way to promote a lifestyle.

Two movies come to mind off hand. "Downsizing" with Matt Damon. The movie sucked regardless of the message but it didnt help that it was really just a pathetically thinly veiled pro-global warming opinion piece. From the trailer I expected a cool funny movie, but it was anything but.

On the other hand, is Brokeback mountain. It had a serious message too, but it was a fantastic movie and, even though homosexuality was front and center, the movie wasnt a soapbox for anyone. it wasnt anyone trying to put forth a political/social viewpoint, rather it was just a good story done well.

Don't Stop Me Now

Me and my brother went and saw it last night. Freddie was a great vocalist, musician, etc, and May Taylor, and Deacon were great too... all great together. This movie was very well put together. I would also recommend to someone to buy the soundtrack to add to their collection.

We went to see this when it came out and it was amazing! I dare say the man that portrayed Freddie deserves an Oscar. He really made me think I was watching the real man.

If people can catch this in theaters, go see it. Amazing all around.

I liked the Bohemian Rhapsody movie,I thought it was very good. But they have been milking his popularity ever since he died. They have made no new studio music. If it wasn't for Freddie probably no one would have heard of them or they would have just been an average band. It would be nice if they could make some new music, but they know people only want the music while Freddie was in the band. Freddie was Queen.
