Seriously. I get that the left doesn't want to build a wall. And that's fine. Really.
There are a number of reasons why someone might oppose a wall:
1) They want illegals to pour into the country for political reasons and think those political reasons outweigh the risk of crime, disease, terrorism, etc.
2) They hate Trump and just don't him to have another political victory, the wall being the worst because it is tangible.
3) They have the mentality of a child and think the naive/moronic "it's not who we are" chant actually makes sense.
4) They live in an area sheltered from the effects of illegals so truly don't see the problems caused by them.
And I'm sure many other reasons.
Those are all valid reasons. Stupid, but valid. So why can't the libs be honest about the reasons they oppose the wall? Every major Democrat is ON RECORD having recently (within the past 15 years or so) supporting a barrier. Does anyone think that if HRC had won, this would even be up for discussion? Of course not. She would have gotten a blank check and the media and the lemmings on the left would be all for it. Just consider the women and children that are raped on the journey here, the sex trafficking--it is a legit humanitarian issue so the left has their built in reason to support it. If you deny this, then you are lying to yourself.
So, it is political. Fine. No big deal. A lot of issues are. But when the left uses the argument that "walls don't work" or "5 or 50 billion is too expensive", they sound like morons.
