Munchie food.. what is your go to?
This is a continuation to a similar post.. but I’ll be more fair game and leave this an open post. What is your go to when you’re under the influence of anything?

Well let's see, I'm an adult so I pretty much out grew the whole getting wasted till I have the munchies thing a while ago. But I guess I still have to go with the old standby, Pizza.

Pizza of course is the old stand by. But really anything greasy that I can douse in hot sauce and put hit peppers on.

Being raised where I was Garbage plates are the creme de la creme.

What are garbage plates? Does that just mean junk food?

Garbage plates = scraps (any mixture of leftovers that remain edible)?

Nope. It's a big pile of Mac salad and homefries. or you can substitute bakes beans for one with two hot dogs or cheeseburgers on top and doused in this Greek hot sauce that is made with ground beef. Kinda like a chili sauce but it's not. No tomato in it and has some cinnamon and clove in it. Some aces you can get skirt steaks, eggs, and pork chops as well but cheeseburgers or dogs is the most common and popular.

It is. The sauce is what makes it though. If you don't like the hot sauce on everything it's nothing all that special. Just a good deal on lots of food. The hot sauce isn't even l that spicy

I LOVE poutine. Uses to run across all the time just for it. So.e places over here try it but most use shredded cheese instead of fresh curds which just doesn't do it.

I love hot sauce. I'd like to find out what kind of sauce it is exactly, or how to make it.

No!!!!!!! That's blasphemy.

Most of the joints near me make it right. I think it may be because I93 is a major travel corridor to Montreal and Quebec pluse we have alot of Canadians here. It appears NH is their Miami beach.

I make a mean poutine.

I can spit on Canada from here. I think too close for all these cheap Bastards here to do it right. Just go to the source for it thing.
Yeah northern NH has some Quebec influence to it.

Yo, have you ever called one a Pepsi?

Corn chips and Fig Newtons. I really love the big "Scoops" that look like Ogre toe nails with a ranch dip.
When I have the munchies, just about anything is fare game, though including a condiment sampler session... I cannot count how many times I didn't know what I want so I sat on the floor in front of the open fridge with a spoon getting a little taste of everything in the door. lol

I used to like it with jelly, but I've been eating it with raspberry jam and I like that even more. :)

Fruit, nuts, cheese/crackers, chocolate, depends on mood.

Chex mix with nuts. It's one of those things I don't have to eat a lot of to feel like I am full.
