I understand the thinking that if you have decent competent people that we should want them for a long time. But, in a country of almost 400million, I think we can find a handful of new decent ones every few years.
It's sounding pretty unanimous. I'm guessing that, even on a large scale, there is an overwhelming "yes" So it makes you wonder why there are no term limits.

Thanks so much. I appreciate the support. The focus right now is on adding members which, really, is the toughest part and then relying on feedback for relevant features. Have tried to keep things basic and not clutter the interface, thinking that member feedback can help shape the site's evolution.
So feel free to invite any and all friends, and feedback is always welcome.

I agree, solid plan. This site is a real good starting point. I find it to be very intuitive and your point about not being cluttered is spot on. I;d like to see a bit more of a "deep dive" into user profiles, getting right to comments and things like that (I put it all in my Contact Us email the other day). Once this site gets more popular it is going to rock.
While the overwhelming majority of Americans want term limits, it will never happen because the people we want out because they have been there for decades, are the ones who make the laws.
If 8 years is enough for the highest office in the land it's way more than enough for a peon.
This is just one of the many things I would like to go back in time and warn the Founding Fathers about.

I'm sure that if the Founding Fathers had realized that today's politicians would be eating at the trough as a career, they would have instituted term limits.
We have become a Nation led by those that will do anything to stay in office....... Including destroying it's Constitution at every level.............. We are know longer a country led by 'We The People', we are nothing more that an Aristocratic Nation led by those that care NOTHING about our Freedoms and Liberty.
Definitely .. am at the point where it should be one term and go back to Civilian Life (no more politics after your one term of public service -- no pensions or perks for the rest of one's life either)
It's LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG past time. We no longer have a Government that serves 'We The People'' it serves it's Aristocrats and will until we stop putting them in office for a lifetime.
Maybe, we should tell the media about this phenomena! Cuz, you know how interested they are in what regular people think and junk.
I know the Senate voted against it back in 2012. What a shock, eh?
