I think we have reached a point where technology has made us so efficient, we can (or should) be able to accomplish far more in less time.

A little hard work never killed anyone.

I don't think it would work. I can see some jobs going to 4, 10 hour days but what about police, firefighters, military, and other high stress jobs? Would we make school weeks 4 days? We would all like to have 3 day weekends but I don't think it's practical.

have to agree...I work from home one day a week and that makes life a little less stressful...almost as good as a 3 day weekend

Sounds great. Right up till that raises the prices of every good and service. If you mean 4 tens then sure. That might make a difference.

No way. We will wind up being a homo-society like France and wind up letting savages come in and rape our women and make slaves of our children.

We are too soft already.

My parent's "gaybors" (about 5 of them living in one house) are all a bunch of lazy, good for nothing a-holes. So you should say....SOME homo's work hard.....maybe most do? My favorite waitor at my favorite restaurant, Joe, gay as gay can be but the dude works his****off (no pun intended). Full time job and just earned his masters degree. Good guy.......actually last night he told me I'd be a great "bear" to which he was surprised I knew what that was and we had a good laugh. See? I don't hate gay people.

I used to, but things started falling apart there. it was great in the summer when I had all my vacation time, I took one day off a week through the summer and so I just worked two 12's a week.

I really don't like doing 5 a week, it feels as if I'm at work too often.

The State of Utah tried that out about 10 years ago with its employees and it was a failure. Instead of five 8-hour days, it went to four 10-hour days. Problem was that the employees continued working just for 8 hours instead of 10.

After about four years, the State reneged and went back to the conventional 5-day, 8-hour work day

well if we did that we would get less money, and then you liberals would cause more riots because "we want more free stuff without having to work for it"
