Trump Said He’d ‘Look Foolish’ To Take Deal He Previously Accepted

Trump reportedly told Chuck Schumer that he'd "look foolish" to accept the deal that he had previously accepted to avert a government shutdown. But has that already happened in the eyes of many American people?

So, basically, the only thing keeping the government shut down is Trump's ego. He had a bi-partisan deal on the table and he blew it because of two talking TV heads. That is not in the interest of the people of America, nor does it comport with his oath of office.

Does that mean that Schumer and Pelosi should be negotiating with Rush Limbaugh?

They would probably get a better deal. Trump has no idea what's going on, except he's having a temper tantrum because he isn't getting his way. Even said he will keep the government down for maybe a year. If he does that, their will be a lot of rebellions going on....and he will be taken out of office.

It means that Trump should not be worrying about what TV talking heads say especially if he has already decided to sign on to a deal with the Democrats. He only changed his mind after FOX blabbermouths said he "gave in."
