Why don't Samsung and Android listen to me?
My Samsung phone has a setting to automatically adjust brightness. I don't want this to happen so I keep the setting turned off. It drives me crazy when the phone adjusts. But the setting constantly becomes undone. What's the point of having this setting if Google Samsung don't listen to it? The same thing happens when my battery gets low it lowers the brightness on my screen. It drives me crazy. I only use my phone a few minutes a day. I'm not someone who has it attached to the year 24/7 or constantly texting and playing apps. I check for messages from my wife and kids and that's pretty much it. So even if my battery runs low, I still have many hours of use out of it.

This is the first time I am accessing this site on my phone. Good job to the designers, it looks great on a small screen

And I thought it was only me being picky. Mine does that too and I hate it. If I could afford an iPhone I would, but this is the most cost efficient, bang for your buck. There are a few other annoying quirks as well, but this is the most insidious IMO because It makes you question your sanity until you realize they are messing with you

The other thing that it does that drives me crazy is that at 25% it dims the screen. I'm fully capable of dimming the screen myself if I want.

Then at 10% it gives me constant warnings, which I guess I shouldn't complain about since it shuts down at about 4%

Personally, I'm surprised smartphones are as popular as they are. When they first started coming out I thought they would never catch on because of the tiny screen and the fact that the battery had to be charged every day. Just seem like a nuisance. I'm quite the visionary
